Agreed Dion. I don't know how one person can tell you how to feel when you see/hear something. I, like teh_bandwagoner there, play the organ as well (I take it he meant the pipe organ). While I have had training, I am not what I would consider a professional. I think if I went on such a show to show that talent (which I think I can say I have, but not to an elite level) and people started absolutely trashing me, I wouldn't be happy about that. I'm not a widely known organist. Hell, unless you go to the one church I play at every weekend, you wouldn't know who I am either, but I'm willing to bet I can surprise Cowell, that woman, and that loser who can't spell his first name/tabloid writer on that show, if I were put into that situation.
