Look at any major 'urbanized' city in the country or the States. I'm going to use Chicago as an example since I lived there.

Guess who lives in the shopping/bussiness district? People who work downtown and have money and typically are single are married without children.
Guess who lives in the club district. Single just out of college people
Guess who lives in the theatre district. Actors!
Guess who lives in the suburbs. You guessed it, Suburbanites! People who have families, and are looking for a quiet place to raise them.
People go to where there interests are.
Its kind of how I moved close to red mile and the saddledome because I like the Flames.

Okay, I'm nuts and I don't know how to read. And you are patronizing to boot. You are really good at this.
But really, I actually do know how to read. I know how to repeat myself as well -- a bar like Cowboys, in an area like they proposed, is not a good idea. It is a bad idea.
And it has been amply demonstrated that a "club district" is not a good idea either. It has failed miserably twice already. You really want to go for strike three? A bunch of "clubs" in the Cowboys mold in a concentrated area is a guaranteed disaster, so you might as well give up on the Meathead District.
