Hellard was on Sports Talk (QR77) last night and denied that Hufnagel had a contract with the Stamps. I can't remember the exact wording, but it was something like this:
- He acknowledged that he, and others in the Stamps organization, know Hufnagel.
- On this exact subject:
"Has Hufnagel been approached about a contract?"
"No, he has not"
The quote was played numerous times during their morning show sports news segments this morning. Billy Powers also made it sound like Hellard was very frustrated with QR for reporting this as fact.
