At about 8:05 pm on Tuesday the 6 November 2007 police
received a call from a citizen that the occupants of a cube
van had just thrown “something” at their vehicle a smashed
the driver’s side front window.

At 8:12 pm police received a call from a home owner that
someone had broken a back window of their residence and there
was a “steel ball” between the two window panes.

At 8:20 pm a marked police unit spotted and stopped a vehicle
at Fairmount Dr and Heritage Dr SE that fit the description
of the culprits vehicle provide one of the victims and the
two 16 year old male occupants were taken into custody. A
sling shot, a supply of ball bearings and spray paint were
found in the vehicle.

Subsequent to this police received several more calls of
windows in vehicles being broken, damaged bus shelters and
graffiti being found throughout the Acadia area.

The investigation is continuing.
