I see that this was about a week ago. Normally it might be too late to call but say you were out of town or something and just returned now.

I'm assuming you were attracted to her because you are contemplating what to say to her. In that case:

Be direct.

John: Hey Steph, it's John. We met at that Halloween Party last week. I went as the facebook page and you left your number on my wall so I thought i'd give you a ring and see how you're doing.

She acknowledges that she remembers you and it was a great costume, etc.

John: You seemed like a great person and I really enjoyed talking to you at the party. I really liked your costume as well. You have a very cute smile and I can tell you have a great personality in the few minutes we talked. I was hoping to go out for some drinks this weekend if you were free so we can get to know each other more.

Steph: Oh John, i'd love to. Does Saturday Night work for you, say around 10 pm?

John: Yeah 10 pm works for me. I'll pick you up at your house around 10.

John and Steph proceed to get some BBQ and get busy.

PS......Awesome costume! LOL!
