I've actually heard they advise putting computers in common areas of the house now so that Jane/Johnny can't hide out and watch pr0n or get stalked by weirdos without others at least having a chance of noticing. Something I've seen in a lot of new houses is a "homework" room for the kids. Desks for all the kids and the computers are placed here in full view of everyone.
Won't stop em all but I'm willing to bet Websense / Sonicwall has some sort of home edition....
