I can relate. I really don't know a darn thing about engineering, and I make that known up front. You certainly won't find me telling them how to do their job, however.

On the other hand, I know how to do my job. To have an engineer constantly respond to me by saying "make it happen or "do it this way" is so frustrating. Sometimes things aren't so black and white. I think many engineers only see things as black and white (i guess it makes sence though, since they probably require that kind of thinking in their job). Most of my frustration stems from that line of thinking though. There is plenty of "in between" if you will, in the land industry.
