REPEATING: KINGS BRING WINGS STINGS

Yesterdays' game was a monumental four point victory for the Kings over the Wings, and possibly Dan Cloutier's best game this season as he posted his 4th shutout of the year.

An early goal by Jonathan Girard would all the Kings needed in this one, although Gomez and Peca padded the lead in the second period.

Despite the victory the Kings still haven't a playoff spot all their own, as no fewer than four teams (Kings, Wings, Avalanche, and Blues) find themselves tied in the point standings at 59.
