If people take care of their cats/dogs, keep then contained, and clean up after them, then fine. If they get out by accident, Im an understanding person. Look, I understand that it can be a little aggravating to see your kids playing in a sandbox that cats have pooped in, but it's not hard to clean, and to take 'revenge' on the cats or the people who own the cats is lazy and petty. Besides, even if every single cat owner kept their cats inside you've still got feral cats, birds, hares etc. running around the city of Calgary pooping everywhere. Not to mention the people who don't clean up after their dogs. So to protest that you're trying to protect your kids from poop is kinda ridiculous.
And I stand by my assessment: killing, trapping, or other malicious behavior towards neighborhood cats because you are too lazy to clean up a sandbox is canucks-fan logic.
