Magazines are impossible to get rid of. Maybe you could phone the elementary schools in your area and see if they want them for the kids to cut up but that's about it. Recycle them though, don't throw them in the garbage if you can't get rid of them.

The books, if they aren't hardcovers of famous books in good condition, classics, or bestsellers from the last 2 years, have to go to the Sally Ann or Goodwill or some charity. You won't get anyone to buy boxes of old paperbacks or that kind of thing, but the charities will take them off your hands. Sally Anne will even pick up, for free, if you have lots of them. They will not take magazines though.

Are the records any good? Good condition? You might be able to unload a few of them at a record store. Recordland is in the white pages.

E-Bay maybe, but how much would it cost to ship 50 pounds of magazines that sell for 10 cents each?
