Cats don't eat squirrels. I have never in my life seen a pet cat eat a squirrel. Squirrels are too fast, too big, and have teeth and claws.
I'm sorry but I find that just very hard to believe.
And there's a lot of irony in killing one animal because you don't like that it's killing another, regardless of whether cats eat squirrels or not.
And I'm not saying that because I like cats other people have to- I am saying that killing someone else's cat, even if they are on your property, is cruel and unneccesary.
And just as a response to some previous posts- what is the point of a humane trap if you "relocate" the cat to where it's owners have no hope of ever finding it, and it will likely die of disease or starvation?
I don't even own a cat- I'm just defending the principle.
I don't like kids but I don't formulate complex plots to trap them should they come into my yard.
I just think we all ought to be worrying about one of the many bigger problems in the world- cats in one's yard seems so silly to get so angry over.
