1. They do not work nor do mothballs or keeping the ground moist all the time.

2. That is another whole issue with cats. They roam and they get into scraps and these are usually the cats that have not been neutered either. Our cats have always been neutered. One summer we had to spend over $700 on vet bills to repair all the wounds to our cat who was repeatedly attacked by some male cat who had never been neutered. Male cats will attack most other male cats, neutered or not, merely to get rid of the competition.
