I dont live in an all white neighborhood, I dont restrict anyone from dating a black person and I am no more cautious around black people on the street than Asian, Native, Hispanic or Caucasion. Therefore, I will point my finger at Dawg for being an bigot and racist.

It should be interesting to see how some of his captives react to him after this news makes it around the island. The "find God" and "you need to change your life" s**t that he preaches will be seen for what it is - hypocrisy.
I was just picking one stereotype to balance the 'dawg stereotype' for the sake of the larger point. There are enlightened people in EVERY group and sub-group, just like there are bigots in EVERY group and sub-group.

The point is simply that a lot of people talk the talk these days and feel rightous in pointing the finger at others that don't talk the talk, yet those very same people are living lives totally isolated from the day to day realities of dealing with entire communities 'below' them. The fact that social economics in the United States so closely mirrors race is an unfortunate excuse for those people. Where they can simply dislike dealing with poor people, allowing them to not point out that they are black or hispanic (or 'white trash', which has its own racist undertones). This Dawg guy is knee deep in it his entire life and he is the suddenly the racist??? Too simple in my opinion.

And really, while used as just a counter-stereotype, i can virtually guarantee that there are more republicans/capita living in gated communities in the United States than there are in any other identifiable community! Can you show otherwise?

Regardless, i am NOT defending Dawg here, he is obviously quite ignorant. ALL i am saying is that it is hard for me to come down TOO much on a guy who has (from appearences) lived the life he has while i watch implicit racism all around me everyday in the way people act and think (even if they know not to say 'the bad words').
