I'll always tip a delivery guy a decent amount based on speed of delivery. I don't necessarily condone reckless driving, but the more efficiently you can get me my large pep & olives, the larger the tip.

I delivered for Stavros a few years back as a evening beer fund kinda job. Wasn't too bad. The glaring irony was that the nicer the house, the crappier the tip. Honestly, without fail, a crappy house usually resulted in a good tip.

One jerk actually ripped me off for 10 cents. I was very quick getting there, but I was greeted by a fat, wife beater-toting greaseball with a handful of silver. I thanked him graciously (hell, I saw a few quarters in there) & went back to the truck to count it.
they say that poorer regions give more to charities, support local school drives etc than do the richer ones (truth I dunno?)

but selling chocolate bars etc as a kid, it was the shabby house that would always buy, the super nice one would send you on your way.

Same selling them in front of the grocery store, the people who didn't look like they had much money would buy, those who looked like they had money wouldn't even look at you.

Funny story, had a Brinks guy walk in with a safe when I asked him to buy a chocolate bar, he looked at me and said "sorry I don't have any money on me" then there was an awakward scilence, as I gave him what I'm sure was the most bizzare look I've ever given anyone, then he said "well... it's not mine" we laughed and he went on his merry way.
