In the same way that J.K. Rowling is anti-christian because she writes about magic, wizards and other devilish things (especially that homosexuality!). These Christian groups just want press so they can sound louder then they actually are. They have misinterpreted the request to spread the word of god to mean "enforce the word of god on all you can".

Dismiss them as nutbags and go on with your life
