I think Goulet's interview with MacLean's Magazine in 2005, at the link below, captured his personality and history very well.

I only remembered this because a copy was sitting by the toilet at work a few years ago and I was laughing uproariously while taking a dump . . . . and I think Goulet would have appreciated that.
