Las Vegas? I know alot of people hate the gambler mentality, but I remember when I was a kid, I loved Vegas. At the time, LV was trying to turn around theri reputation and had 4 day trips for $200 (flights/hotels) and my parents took me almost every year, from 7 years old to 14 years old. Lights and shows and crazy sounds and everything, I just eat it up. You can usually find LV deals on sites like expedia that suite your getaway needs, and its a nice break from Calgary. Also, I'm 22 and I've never gambled more then $5 in a night (outside of poker) so LV never turned me into a gambler.
