That said... Wow they are being silly. Why exactly is it based out of Brussels now? How does that target an American population any more then the original? Sounds like the people in charge are completely missing the point of leveraging a brand.  |
A movie glorifying an American soldier right now would probably have a rather limited global appeal. It wouldn't even have much appeal to lots of Americans.
Like it or lump it, and all politics aside, the American military isn't getting a whole lot of love in the world.
That being said, this is a pretty stupid idea.
