Not all of them have much of a choice to get a different or better job. You are being pretty arrogant to think that all of them have the opportunity or ability to just get a decent wage "that easily."
Who am I to say what people can do with their disposable income? I can't really influence their choices, but I do believe that if you cannot afford to reward good service or choose not too, then no, you should not go out. By going out without tipping you are essentially abusing a system that is set up to reward those in the service industry that do a good job, and you are denying them the reward of doing a good job. Not to mention wasting their time as they might actually NEED that money to survive.
