It's not over yet!
McLaren is apealling a ruling that may disqualify three drivers from the Brazilian GP. If it goes thru, Hamilton would move up to 4th and have enough points to win the Championship.

Fuel on board a car may not be more than 10-degrees Celsius below the ambient temperature. Readings from Nick Heidfeld's car showed his fuel was as much as 13-degrees below allowable temperatures while one of Robert Kubica's readings was 14-degrees below.
However, the stewards ruled that there was not enough concrete evidence to prove that the temperature readings taken were accurate. They added that with sufficient doubt it would be inappropriate to impose a penalty.
The disqualification of Nico Rosberg, Kubica and Heidfeld would have been enough to elevate Hamilton up to fourth in the final standings, which would have given him more points than race winner Kimi Raikkonen, giving him the F1 title.
