Im trying to get in on this bandwagon. I'm off to Oz in Jan for a Uni exchange

for 6 months. The flights are kinda scaring me. I can't find anything lower than 2000 for a Jan departure.

That Quantas link above is an amazing deal, the only catch is that you have to book it all in a 3 month period (like all flights within 3 months). Which doesn't work for me since Ill be there for 6. But other than that, its an amazing deal considering how expensive regular flights are. To me it basically seems like you are getting a cheap return flight PLUS 3 flights for free within Australia.
So if you are going to be there less than 3 mos. get in on that deal.
