I see Joe simply riding off into the sunset, unless he really, really wants to manage again.

I can't see many teams being in his price range - a team like Pitts should be spending money on their own players or trying to acquire some talent on the field, not a manager.

Where Torre would be a good investment, would be on a team on the cusp of making the playoffs, with a largely vet group - *cough* Blue Jays *cough*, where he could put his motivation skills to the test and possibly push the team into a playoff berth. I don't see that happening though.
