From what I've read, the NLL is paying NBC to put the game on tv.
No question it's a bush league...just look at how many teams in the past 3 years have folded or relocated.

Yeah right. With the league being as small as it is, and the players making probably less than what CFL players make, you honestly believe that they can afford to pay NBC for 3 hours of live coverage? If it is a bush league as you say it is, why would NBC want to broadcast the game for?
From what I heard, Edmonton desperately wants a team of their own cause they were jealous seeing Calgary win a championship after just 3 years. [/b][/quote]
Next time, before yapping, do a little search:

NBC is being paid for the game...why wouldn't they put it on.
They do show arena ball as well....
To respond to your last paragraph, you heard wrong. No one in Edmonton has any clue about any NLL expansion, nor does anyone care.
Hey, if we get a team, it's good for the people that might like it and watch it.
I personally don't think I'll be wasting my time for a league where music is played during the game. What kind of league plays music?!?!?
The average player makes $8,000....not much, not much at all.
