I am so going to be feeding fotze with this post.

So my wife bought me a one-piece composite hockey stick for my birthday tomorrow. She also got the Stick Butt End plugso I can make the stick the correct length. The feller at the store suggested this method. I want to take care when I put the butt end plug into the stick so that I don't ruin the stick.

It appears as though some heating will be required to get the plug to fit in the shaft. Which is the best method to heat the stick so that I don't break down the stick too much?
