It's worked for the Broncos. Can't say running the ball has been a problem for them for at least a dozen seasons.

That O-line has been coached very well and the scheme Denver runs really allows for Shanahan to plug in almost anyone and have success. That Bailey for Portis trade might be the best example of Shanahan having faith in the line and the system, rather than a specific back.
Other than LT, I dont think any running back is worth throwing the checkbook at... but I might have said the same about Alexander/Holmes in the previous few seasons.
