I don't know if this guy is for real, but you gotta feel bad for him. I remember a police friend of hubby's saying if someone robs you make sure you shoot to kill and make sure it is inside your house and not the yard.

there was something else that this case brought to mind.
About the farmer who shot two burglers and killed one of them. The survivor then sued him!!! (it was also later shown that the leg injury he put on with a limp was fake, he was caught on tape merrily riding a bike which he shouldn't have been able to do)
Years ago I had an armed assailant come to my house in the middle of the night... The short story is I gave him a beat down and nearly killed him... I was charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and possesion of a deadly weapon... I took the matter to a jury trial and was found not guilty... Immediately after the criminal trial he sued me civily for injuries he suffered in the altercation he created... End result, he was awarded a nominal award for out of pocket expenses he incurred (lamer was on welfare and they paid his hospital bills) but it still cost me $60,000.00 in attorney and private investigator fees between the two trials...
Trust me, I learned my lesson... Leave no witnesses, dead men do not talk!!
