I think the angle Jenkins is going for is the student vote. Not to mention the obvious counterpoint, "would all MRC students drive if they had a choice?" Right now, they either drive, or take overcrowded buses that service the overflow at Bishop Carroll, Central Memorial, Marguerite Bourgeoys (sp), as well as the Hospitals. Its a huge detour and it takes over an hour (at least to get south). I don't think the LRT would do a lot better, but it would be a viable option. LRT is much more efficient than buses.
