How many are repeat visitors say, from Sherwood Park? Do they count the staff for the A&W? Are there little lasers that do this accurate counting, or is it just a number that looks good to prospective tenants? When I open up a brochure at my local Japan Travel Bureau office here I see brochures and information for tours to Calgary and Banff. In the little corner the Japan Travel Bureau website it says that "Calgary is a developed frontier town built on a can-do spirit. It mentions Calgary's confidence and says that it is well know as a cowboy city, and that Calgary was the
host of the 1988 Winter Olympics.

Banff
Those are the only two spots featured in Alberta. No Edmonton, no mall.
The other areas on the web site, just so you get an idea of travel demand to Canada from overseas from Japan:
Yellowknife (Auroras), Whistler, Ottawa, Calgary, Quebec City, Charlottetown, Toronto, Niagara Falls, Vancouver, Banff, Victoria, Montreal
