I certainly have to agree with you on Cosmos, and I too like to watch many of Richard Dawkins' lectures/documentaries. I ordered The Selfish Gene a few days ago!
Yeah I've watched all his Christmas Lectures series, man I wish kids could be brought up here watching that kind of programming isntead of being programmed to believe in diety worship.
I'll look for The Blind Watchmaker asap.
