Maybe this is just me, but Ive noticed the service industry here in the US blows the service industry in Canada out of the water, almost universally. I've never had a problem - extra green peppers, extra cucumbers, the right amount of mustard, etc... is always easy.

I like subway because I get a footlong, eat half and have the second half a couple hours later. People have to be smart - alas - consumers, like voters, are generally dumb and fall into the advertising trap... "Duh, Subway says it's healthy, so it must be healthy... Ill have a footlong meatball with extra mayo on Italian with a large Coke and a 2 cookies."

People need to use their heads.
