Yankees/Red Sox was my favorite as I absolutely detest the Yankees. However being down 7.5 games or so with 14 games left and passing the Mets is huge.

Golf has had some huge ones during majors. Van de Velde had one major choke as did Norman.

Denver (8) beat Seattle (1) in the 1994 NBA playoffs which made it the 1st time in history that a 8th seed beat a 1st seed in that format. Seattle won a franchise 63 games (63-19) during that season while Denver snuck in at 42-40 I believe. Mutombo holding the ball at the end is still in my mind.

Some others:

- USA beating the Soviets in the Miracle on Ice game.

- Buster Douglas beat Mike Tyson in 1990 in the heavyweight championship match

- Gardner beat Karelin in the 2000 Olympics in the greco roman wrestling event (Karelin I think never lost prior to that)

- NCAA basketball has had some huge ones as well. Valparaiso that one year, George Mason a few years ago.
