hockey pool advice
I'm in a fairly intricate keeper-type hockey pool with a salary cap and some pretty intense rules.
One thing we do is draft prospects...a prospect is defined as any player taken in the last three nhl entry drafts that has not played 25 NHL games.
What I'm looking for here is good advice re. prospects. Keep in mind the scoring is based entirely on goals and assists for players and on wins and shutouts for goalies, so let me know any players you think have the greatest offensive upside.
Keep in mind, the following players have already been picked or are not eligible based on the 25 games rule:
2005 draft:
Crosby
Bobby Ryan
Jack Johnson
Benoit Pouliot
Gilbert Brule
Jack Skille
Devin Setoguchi
Brian Lee
Luc Bourdon
Anze Kopitar
Tuuka Rask
Nicklas Bergfors
T.J. Oshie
Guy Latendresse
M.E. Vlasic
Paul Stastny
Danny Syvret
2006:
Eric Johnson
Jordan Staal
Jonathan Toews
Nicklas Backstrom
Phil Kessel
Derrick Brassard
Kyle Okposo
James Sheppard
Michael Frolik
Bryan Little
Leland Irving
2007:
all are available
...so let me know any prospects with great offensive upside.
