Ummmm, The last time the WWE was in Calgary was game 7 against the Canucks. I had free tickets to that event and did plan on going, but obviously I didn't so I could watch the hockey game.

I think its a fairly obvious answer, when talking to a member of a Calgary Flames board...hmmm I doubt you'd get much more in any NHL city if their team was in a big game 7.
The largest wrestling target market is a fairly significant NHL target market.
And check your attendance numbers....in the last 12 years, attendance above 20,000 has happened 3 times, and 6 times in the 21 years. So the Saddledome is more than acceptable.

Was always a casual wrestling fan, now not so much, but there also is no need for 5 months of stories geared around Calgary specificially.
Just bring out the Hart Family for one last hurrah...instant interest in Calgary and in wrestling circles.
