I'm so sorry, Reg. Two years ago I had to put Rufus, my rabbit, down and I was a total mess. I know what you're going through and I know how much it hurts. You're doing the right thing and there are people who wouldn't be able to do it because of their own comfort zone. Take pride in the fact that if your dog understood everything that is happening that it would appreciate the fact that you're trying to save it some pain.
