For ones that havent been mentioned...
The Other (1972) - Creepy twins, crazy grandma, pure awesome
The Blob (1988 - Remake) - Awesome effects, dissolving people, nuff said
Eraserhead (1977) - David Lynch's seminal first feature, creepy, post-apocolyptic, and bizzarely whacked-out
The Devil's Backbone (2001) - Guillermo Del Toro (Hell Boy, Blade 2) made alot of sweet Spanish movies, this is the best (and damn scariest) one
Session 9 (2001) - Just plain goddamn wicked. This movie scares the living hell out of everyone. Don't miss it.
Videodrome (1983) - Wow wow wow wow wow. Blows your mind and then chases it into a clausterphobic pit. Cronenberg's best.
In The Mouth Of Madness (1994) - Based on a wicked Lovecraft short story, Sam Neil gets progressively more insane with each passing scene. Love it.
Alien (1979) - Great effects, great director, great plot, great everything. More scares and less action that the sequel, and just as great!
