a few Shaw employees got it sponsored by the company so they could see what kind of competition they were up against, and i'll just say that no one was worried. no HD, no PPV, no center ice, takes 5-10 seconds to change channels, you are required to have Telus internet service to get the TV (and for every TV that is on, the internet speed is halved), and there are no buttons on the box. if you lose or break the remote, you can't even turn the box on. you need to buy another remote from Telus just to use the TV

also the quality is very substandard compared to cable or satellite, as all they're doing is streaming MPEG-4 video over the internet. even if i wasn't an employee of Shaw, it's still not a service i would ever spend my money on
