Microsoft has so much to advertise and push this game likes its the greatest thing since the invention of the telephone - and thats why you even see 7-11s selling them. Yes thats right, I was in my local 7-11 this evening to pick up some lotto tickets and right behind the counter were a bunch of Halo 3 pinups advertising that they will have the game on the shelves tommorow 12am.

Heck they even the halo slurpee cups and coffee mugs and Halo pop beverages on sale.
I'm no super-nerd, my life's priorities are well laid out, but that doesn't mean I'm not excited about this game. I think it's funny that so many people out there, on almost any message board you visit, feel the need to express that they think the Halo series sucks.
If you don't like it, don't buy it, plain and simple.
Halo is in no way as advanced or easily controlled as PC FPS but the fact is that it is probably the best FPS series on any console system.
And to say "Halo 3 is nothing extraordinary like everyone is making it out to be" seems a bit presumptuous. Judging from the reviews it has received so far it is, in fact, extraordinary. Most reviews are saying that it actually lives up to the hype and that it is the most "next generation" experience to come out so far on any console.
