Pet peeve when recieving change
Maybe this doesn't deserve it's own thread, but this is something that has always been a pet peeve of mine. It never really bothered me before because it didn't happen that often, but lately it seems that everywhere I go cashiers have taken to this really annoying way of giving change back.
Say you get $8.78 back in change, instead of handing you the loose change and then the bills (or vice versa), they place all the loose change on the biil(s) and then awkwardly struggle to pass you the whole shabang, which has on too many occasions resulted in change being dropped on the counter/floor.
I just wonder what makes people think this is an effective way of handing back change?
Does this happen too/perplex anyone else?
