That right there is the biggest reason I ask for daily starts. It rewards being active in the pool.

Seriously? I'd say that's just as bad as swapping your bottom players every day! Week to week has a lot of goalie strategy as well - especially if you have multiple goalies, such as who do you play, who are they playing, can you beat both your opponents goalie's for wins with your best goalie in a given weak, thus making it easier for you to win GAA and SV%, etc.
