I thought about games, still some cdn tickets available. but too expensive. maybe i'll go to some of the others that are 10 - 15 bucks. russia-lativa, finland vs whoever, etc.

Methinks the City just needs to stick it out until the end of Winter and they'll cave.

Steely, 14th doesn't work for me but I might be down for a road trip some other time.

I'm really hoping the city does stick it to the Union. The City continually puts reasonable offers on the table and they continually refuse because they can't set their own schedule. That's just being Selfish.

The Union isn't winning many friends right now. Taking Cab rides to the airport and back at ~$40 a pop isn't making me their friend.

I can't wait to get back to Ottawa, I really hate Toronto, but this damn bus strike... I was hoping it would be over by the time I got back.

Well there's hope now. City Council is meeting tonight at 9 (on a Friday?). So who knows. I'm trying to understand both sides, but so far the union has not really done themselves any favours.

The bus strike is even making it a pain to get a cab. Called tonight to book one for tomorrow morning and I get told, "Call in the morning at least half an hour before you need it and maybe we'll have one available."
