Survivor Samoa Pool

Well Puxlut started a thread on the new Survivor season and there were a few people that mentioned a pool but nobody jumped on it, so here goes. The show starts next Thursday (17th).
This will be a straight forward pool where last one standing wins. We need 20 people. If there is enough time we can draft 2 players a piece.

Since nobody in the other thread actually said they would be in the pool I am not including anybody.

I will take Mick Trimming. I'm not 100% on this choice, think maybe I'm taking a risk here but I didn't get a great vibe from any of the write-ups (other than Jaison), here's hoping this guy is a bit more of a people person than he sounds, however I'm going to take a gamble.

Now that all the picks are made, I'm going to go ahead and predict that Shannon will be voted out tonight. I can just picture her being the crazy lady who tries to do too much at camp / tries and fails to be the leader.

If she can keep quiet and fade into the background for the first 4 or 5 weeks, I think she can be successful. I just get the feeling that she'll talk too much and annoy people from the get-go.

How awesome is white Russell? When Elizabeth confronted him about having the Idol he's just like "How dare you accuse me of having it? You're on thin ice lady." He basically just throws whatever someone says right back at them, and somehow makes them feel like they were the ones that did something wrong.

Really? I think it's been one of the best seasons. Russel is one of the most notable characters in the history of Survivor and the environment is HARSH.

I really felt bad for Russell; he looked so disappointed. Complete robbery. Maybe there's some comfort in knowing the majority of the viewers picked him as a winner.

Next season could be interesting. I guess Russ won't make that one. They'd better not put any previous winners on this show. To me, that was a big flaw of Survivor All Stars; you just knew a previous winner would not repeat.

Wow. Possibly the best Survivor ever ends with perhaps the absolute worst endings. What a disappointment. I was annoyed as I was close to picking Russell first overall, but once Natalie won I knew this season was pretty much impossible to guess.

There is no way she should have won, I think the jury was still to upset that they lost and did not want to give it to Russel. He was by far the best player this year, if not ever. I hope that he gets another chance next season.

Though, in this case, I think Russell would have taken Natalie to the final two even if he had the choice, he obviously didn't think the jury would reward a player who did very little. And the fact that they did is a major flaw in Survivor.

I find that with almost every survivor though.

Yes Russel did play the best outwit, outlast, outplay game..

But in the end he screwed over almost everyone to get to the finals and in the end it became a popularity contest.

When you fu#k over that many people, it gets personal...and thats why he lost.
