Well its that time to predict the Winner.

My pick:

Tiger Woods - will finally end the draught

Mike Weir - Finishes 3rd.

Vijay Singh takes it - and takes over the #1 golfer ranking

Tiger in 5th

Weir in 7th

What the heck - I'll pick the Calgary boy Stephen Ames.

I honestly want to say that Mike Weir will fair well, but I don't believe he can. I'll somewhat agree with calf and say Vijay will take it, but I do have a sneaking suspicion that Ernie Els can finally win a major this season. The only thing that holds me back from commiting to Els is that he has not come thru in the clutch at all, all year long. This course is supposedly, "too difficult" and guys like Vijay and Els don't make a lot of huge mistakes in their early rounds.

Somebody we've never heard of will win the PGA Championship, edging out Ernie Els, AGAIN.

This course sounds nasty if the wind picks up, so I'll take a guy like Els to win it. I think Tiger and Vijay, and Carlos Franco will also challenge too. I'll take Weir to be 8th and Ames to finish in the top 20.
