... When it rains it pours!!! Furnace motor, dryer heater coil now this - well I guess that makes three...
Anyway any suggestions on a reputable outfit to replace a garage door spring... May just do it myself on the weekend but don't know if I have time... Also suggestions on a good place to get a new spring?
Thanks!

Sorry, I guess I should have qualified my recommendation.
He installed both our garage door openers in our new house and did a great job as well as came back for some tweaks without any problems.
He used to work for a major garage door company that did work for our builder. He left to start his own company and came very highly recommended from our site supervisor.
He probably won't need a ladder either, he is the biggest guy ever! :D

I used Chinook Garage door last week when the gears went in mine.
They are very good and came out and had it finished 2 hours later

What type of springs do you have?
My door has a tube with the springs hidden inside. I think the guy said it would be around $250.00 to fix it if they broke.
