Becky, did you send new lines? According to game summaries, it was still my line-up and no Boucher. Congrats on first win anyway. 15 shots against is a new record this season. Previous was 17 by Devils, still lost 0-4.

Nope, this is your win Igor!!

I sent in new lines but they did not get there in time I guess. No Boucher in the lines I submitted either. His plane had not yet touched down in Chicago.

Despite a worrying injury to centre Saku Koivu fourteen seconds into the game and going down 2-0 a quarter of the way into the first period, the Leafs managed to regroup and force an important tie with their conference rivals from Philadelphia, riding the excellent goaltending of Brian Boucher. Fortunately, Koivu does not appear to have suffered a long term injury and should be ready to go for next game.

Nope, it's yours. The reason of the win was that they've been greatly motivated by new GM, as opposed to play lazy under Pointman and his terrible motivating skills :P

Don't forget to nominate Kovalev for player of the month. Another 1st star, 2 points, +2, 8 shots, 3 hits and 25 minutes.

SABRES WIN 3RD STRAIGHT
Still 8 points out of a playoff spot

The Sabres have registered their fourth convincing win in five games since the New Year's break. The team saw most of the lines get into the action. Brad Isbister back from injury chipped in on the third line, and the top 2 lines, as well as dman Wade Belak also got in on the act. Loooob is still confused, is he in sell mode? or is he going to try and close the 8 point gap on the Caps? Interesting rumors continue to swirl around Buffalo.

D Kim Johnsson was tossed early from the game, and Lubo Visnosky in particular picked up the slack. It was a very feisty game for former Sabre prospect Fredrik Sjostrom who went nuts not once, but twice for the Pens prior to getting tossed.

Sabres back at it again tomorrow against the NYR

Garon Struggles as Panthers get Blown Out!

Well it was a tough game as the Senators dominated the Panthers on Monday night. Allowed 5 goals early and was yanked in the 2nd period allowing Sean Burke to make his debuit in net for the Panthers.

Not all was lost howver as the Panthers new top line found instant chemistry! Fisher and Sturm were exact mirrors of eachother. Each had a goal and was a +1 on the night with 3 shots each.
