These guys in N Korea are some very warped bastards.

"This is an organized and planned kidnapping as well as a terror crime that took place in broad daylight," the spokesman said, according to KCNA, the North's official news agency. KCNA was monitored by South Korea's Yonhap news agency.

"The South Korean government will be fully responsible for the outcome of this situation, and other forces that cooperated in this affair will also pay a big price," the spokesman said

Yup...people escaping complete and utter oppression for a chance at a good life is now termed "terrorism" against the NK government.

Hilarious.

I have nothing more to add on him, except for that while his people eat dirt and what little grows out of it, he has hired (kidnapped) some of the best cooks in the world for himself, and has his guards on serious missions to get him exotic ingredients (which would be anything seeing as the populace lives on dirt).

Kim likes to eat (http://straitstimes.asia1.com.sg/eyeoneastasia/story/0,4395,258583,00.html)

And a cynical look at the dictatorship. Did you know to visit tours from Japan start at around $5000? Full compliment of "tour guides" included.

The Fan Club (http://mirrors.meepzorp.com/geocities.com/north-korea-fan-club/)

And the rumoured love interest of the dumpy freaky ugly one? A J-Illusionist who goes by the name princess Tenko.

Kim loves a princess (http://www.asiaweek.com/asiaweek/magazine/2000/0512/as.people.html)

I could go on forever (the DPRK kids who have skills beyond their years as they are forced to nothing but practice for shows of glory to the leader), but, if there was one guy I'd like to see gone, it's the guy hurling missles that land way too close to where I live right now.

Coincidentally, a story about being a tourist in North Korea.

In 1999, a South Korean woman was detained for about a week after suggesting a North Korean guide should come and stay in the South because living standards were better.

That caused a two-week suspension of the tours before the situation was resolved under pressure from Seoul.
