Can't get the formatting. Don't know what the problem is.

Incomplete posts are a trend? Crazy, I'm really good at those.

Thanks, was hoping it would die in the middle of the night without incident. I did explain myself in the initial post after things went wrong. Had trouble posting a word.doc and couldn't fix the paragraphing, even after trying several different ways. The excerpt was so badly mangled it wasn't worth posting.

Although, it of course didn't show the problems in the message editor, therefore I didn't know there was a problem until AFTER posting.

I apparently forgot about the intertubes love for car wrecks. I appreciate all your help in jumping on my mistake though, well done. ;)

You can lock it down now if people feel the need to jump in thanks...

Oh, and I AM taking names of all the smart asses out there... You will get your comeuppance... ;) Maybe not today, as the saying goes...

What were you trying to share in the first place out of curiosity? (don't put my name on the list...I'm not mocking you!)

Haha, oh yeah right. I'm far too gun shy now. If a simple mistake can warrant such malicious abuse like I'm going to share my opinions now. ;)

In all seriousness, it was an excerpt from a novel I finished writing a little while ago that I am still updating, changing and proofing. It's technically fiction but takes place in the real world and uses many real world events (like current financial and political problems) as a basis for the characters and their motivations. The book is not called 'trends', that's just the name that I gave to the page or so I snipped out to share.

I talked to Photon and I think I know what the problem is. I'm not nearly as web savy as many and I just couldn't get it to work last night.

I'll probably try putting it up again soon.

Congrats man, that's quite an accomplishment. Hobby or hopeful profession?

It's a goal of mine to write something someday.

Hmmm, over 16,000 posts. I would say "goal reached". :D

The title sure sounded good. I thought it was going to give us some insight into where the world economy was going to end up.
