The Pens would like to nominate Andy Delmore for your consideration...

Delmore has been one of few bright spots for the Pens this year

GP G A PTS +/- PIM
30 7 17 24 3 37

He has been far and away the most consistant Penguin, sitting 3rd in team scoring and just outside the top ten for CPHL-wide D-man scoring.

The Oilers have 4 deserving candidates for Howe conference defenceman

Player GP G A P +/- Notes:
Brian Leetch 31 7 25 32 21 Leads Howe conference defenceman in both scoring and +/-

Tom Poti 33 8 21 29 -3 Coming on strong +12 last 8GP and 14 points since joining the Oilers

Matthias Ohlund 31 6 23 29 7 Has been terrific as an Oiler posting 11 points and +13 in 7 games and 1 minute.

Dan Hamhuis 34 5 16 21 10 Ferocious sophomore defender is proving last year was no fluke. His 103 pim also is top 10 in the league.

The top three are the top scoring defenceman in the Howe conference and are a huge reason why the Oilers are currently averaging the most Goals per game in the CPHL despite not having one player in the top 30 in league scoring. This group is also allowing fewest shots per game against and the lowest goals against as of today along with the second ranked Powerplay and 4th rated PK unit.

Thrashers would like to nominate from their own roster Derek Morris.

We think Derek Morris is having a career year and worthy of a spot on the allstar roster.

He currently sits 3rd among dmen scoring with 7G, 26A, 33PTS.

Those 33 points rank Morris 2nd among point scorers on the Thrashers. 1 point back of the leader Craig Conroy.

Although he is no longer a Canuck, we'd like to nominate Tom Poti. We wished him well and knew a change of scenery would help.

Ottawa would like to Nominate Ed Jovanovski.

So far Ed has 11 Goals 19 assits for 30 points in 34 games. He is the leader on Defence. he is also a +24

We also feel the Nick Boynton deserves some consideration.

at 24 years of age Nick is proving he is ready to carry the load for the Senators. So far he has 6 Goals, 17 Assists for 23 points. he is a +17 and plays in key positions for the Senators.

Lastly we would like to Nominate Ossi Vannanen. Despite being primarly a Defensive Dmen he has still managed to score 4 goals and 10 assists. He is a +15 on the year. Not bad for the 23 year old.

The Montreal Canadiens nominate Chris Pronger
Despite being traded from each of the Panthers, Rangers, Thrashers and Canadiens since the past summer, Chris Pronger has shown incredible focus. Pronger has 26 points in 35 games this season. He is plus 14, with 72 PIM and 84 hits. With the exception of Pronger's 3 game stint in Florida (who really wants to play in Florida anyway?) Pronger has done everything asked of him. He's been a physical pressence, killed penalties, played against the opposition's top lines. He is a clutch player, a third of his goals have proven to be the game winner.

Hurricanes Notables

Kenny Jonsson – GP 35 G 10 A 27 PTS 37 +/- 24
Kenny leads the league in points (37), goals (10) and plus minus (+24)for defensemen and also rates second in a assists (27).
Sean Hill - GP 33 G 5 A 21 PTS 26 +/- 11
Although not amazing numbers to land himself on the allstar team, but good enough to warrant consideration.
Mike Komisarek - GP 35 G 2 A 8 PTS 10 +/- 22
Mike trails only teammate Kenny Jonsson in +/- for a defenseman and ranks in the top ten for the league. Although Mike’s game isn’t about offence, although still enough to be Defenceman of the week honours, his defensive aspects of the game have been heads above his fellow rearguards. All this while still in his rookie season.
