The Panthers Would like to awknowledge the following players for being in the top 25 in goal scoring in the AHL.

Gamache, Simon MIL LW 32 16 28 44 +12
Boyes, Brad PRO C 36 12 23 35 +1
Brown, Dustin MCH LW 34 16 17 33 +5
Goren, Lee MTB RW 31 16 14 30 +16

The biggest surprise has been the play of Lee Goren with his +16.

*numbers based on actual AHL play and they ar not representative of the CPHL or any of its affiliates.

Since this is the latest trend in the touting-your-prosepcts department, the Los Angeles Kings would like to point out the following:

Antoine Vermette 35 10 22 32 (t-18th AHL scoring)
Andrew Hutchinson 30 7 18 25 (3rd AHL D scoring)
Hannu Toivonen 15-9-3-3 2.00 .935 (2nd AHL minutes, 3rd SV%, 5th GAA)

The Minnesota Wild were pleased (and frankly shocked) to learn that free agent signee Michel Oulette leads the AHL in goals with 26 (including 5 in two games).

Oilers players/prospects Jason Spezza and Uberstar Yannik Lehoux were 1-2 in AHL scoring when I looked at the list yesterday. Coolest alltime CPHL player Dan Hamhuis was among defenceman leaders outdoing the likes of highly touted Jay Bouwmeester (Oiler property) and Joni Pitkanen. Also Eric Staal has posted 31 points in 25 games despite being dragged down by Chuck clunk Kobasew :lol:

The Manitoba Moose are happy to pat Jamie Herrington on the back. He is 12th overall in scoring and is tied for 4th overal in assits.
