Tomorrow Mike Van Ryn, who leads Hawks defensemen in scoring, was supposed to serve the last game of his 3 games suspension. However, thing didn't turn out this way. Hawks GM Pointman will be away since today's night and as he won't be able to bring Van Ryn back on roster, he couldn't help but suspend him for one more game.

"I just felt, 3 games suspension was not enough", said Pointman. "He deserved much more and he won't see the ice until 2005. It will be tough to play against Oilers without Van Ryn, but Hawks want to keep hockey clean and can distribute punishment themselves if editor is too shy about it. Oilers have a fair share of superstars and we don't want them to be injured because it hurts hockey, CPHL, fans and everything. We are just not that kind of team".

When asked about last two games, Hawks will play without a coach on the bench, Pointman replied

"Well, we've already beaten both Leafs and Oilers this season. I guess, we've got all points we could get from them and won't get anything more."
