Vancouver (AP) - The Vancouver Canucks are proud to announce their first ever charity event involving Jello. This weekend, the entire Canucks team will participate in Jello wrestling versus the local firefighters. All proceeds will go to the Vancouver food back. In a press conference this morning, GM Mango said with a smirk, "It's a 29:1 ratio in this league and I have to make my presence known somehow!" Admission to the event is $5.00 with a food bank donation. Don't miss this opportunity to see the likes of Simon Gagne and Cale Hulse donning 80s swim trucks. After the main event, players will be signing autographs on the main concourse of GM Place, while Vancouver firefighters will be autographing their calendars outside the main parking area.

Come join on the fun!

I am completely offended by this blatant sexualization of men! I'll be there to burn my speedo in protest.

Now you expect me to cook for you? Then you'll want me to do your laundry and keep the house clean while your off managing your little CPHL empire. Where does it stop?

The Buffalo Sabres would be happy to lend the Canucks Tie Domi for this event...after all it's all about the charities, right?

The CPHLFA represents fans of all genders and lifestyles. Female membership (all 0 of them) like the idea. Male membership (all 4 of us) feel it's sick and degrading....but we wish GM Mango the best of luck in her fundraising. The CPHLFA also feels it's ironic that in a food bank fundraiser, there is a gross wastage of food happening. That's like holding a casino to raise money for gambling addiction treatment.
